Hardware modifications (dma & usb) for AmigaOne XE motherboard
The documentation how to implement this fixes is now available. Here follow some short information from us.
Fixes is not recommended by GGS-Data, and is not recommended by our supplier of AmigaOne XE motherboard.

The recommended solution for dma is to use a Silicon Image udma controler board, until a software fix is found.
For USB we recommend to use a low price USB hub.

For you who want to have the modification implemented, dma or usb or both, GGS-Data can do it. For this we charge a smaller fee for the work, no cost for material. Please contact us for discussion of practical details.

We also would like to offer our costumers of AmigaOne XE, that we can send the information/documentation about how to implement the fixes to you. The documentation is made by Eyetech.
This if you closer to yourself have the possibility to make the modification. We hope this might make it easier for you who would like to do it in this way.
Please note, that any modifications undertaken to the hardware might invalidate any remaining warranty.
For contacting us, e-mail or phone works very fine.

Welcome !

CPU cooling AmigaOne XE
Several costumers have asked us about replacement cooling for the AmigaOne XE CPU.
We have looked on two different solutions, which fit well. The 7450/7455 CPU thats used in AmigaOne XE generate some heat. A good airflow together with a heat diversion passive cooler is a good choice.
Both models diverse the heat well, and the fans makes good airflow. The Zalman model is possible to run in two different speed. Both can be mounted on the CPU card.
It might be time to look into a replacement.
Of course its also possible to just replace the fan with similar Sunon fan as the board originally is delivered with.

Zalman VF700-Alcu. Is sorted under accessories/cooling.
Titan Copper. Is sorted under accessories/cooling.

AmigaOS 4 installation guide
We have now a swedish installation guide for AmigaOS 4 Developer Pre-release cd. Scale up the size for clearer pictures.

Is available for downloading here (PDF)

AmigaOS 4 developer prerelease cd
Buyer of AmigaOne earlybird should now have received AmigaOS 4 developer prerelease cd, in most cases friday last week. We want to congratulate all that have waited for this, and also give a big, thank you, to all earlybird buyers.
Thank You !

Here little first info...
Each cd has a unique serial number. Its to find on the cd case. GGS-Data will not keep any register about who have a specific serial number. So it might be good for yourself as a user to keep this number in good place.
It might be that you need this serial number for being able to take part of eventually software updates.

We did also ourself install the prerelease on both an A1 mini + an A1 G4 XE during the last weekend and took a look on the system. You can also read a first review here at Pegasos.org.
We also have some plans to make some kind of tutorial here, with perhaps hints and info etc. But also on www.amigaworld.se. And there will surely show up something more at Pegasos.org as well.

We have also a few AmigaOne G4 XE left for the summerprice.
Take the chance !

Of course all boards now are delivered with AmigaOS 4 developer pre-release cd + also Debian installation cd as before. And we build systems with AmigaOS 4 installed.
Velcome !
