A further alternativ is also Gentoo Linux, which depending of its structure can give you the most out of the hardware. - The Open Desktop Workstation Linux PowerPC solution available on the market today is endorsed by IBM and Motorola. - Pegasos Open Desktop Workstation can be delivered with either IBM 600MHz PPC 750CXe (G3) or Motorola 1GHz PPC 7447 (G4).

Yellow Dog Linux is soon to also be an alternative for your Pegasos. |
